The mission of the Spearfish Youth Soccer Association, Inc. (SYSA) is to promote a quality youth soccer program where young people and coaches can develop positive self-image, self-confidence and soccer skills through their interest and participation in the game of soccer.
The Spearfish Youth Soccer Association Board meets at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Hudson Hall. The public is welcome to attend.
Register ONLINE for Spring Soccer Today!
The Spearfish Youth Soccer Association is pleased to announce a new, secure, entirely online registration process. Please click here or on the soccer ball to the right to register for spring soccer. Under this new process, registration fees must be made with a debit or credit card. If you are a coach or board member, you will be reimbursed later for your discount.
Since this is the first season we have had the online registration process, everyone needs to first click on “Create Account” on the registration home page to get started. Then you can “Find” players who have participated in Spearfish Youth Soccer in the past.
Be sure to register by February 19, 2010, to receive the early bird $50 discount. All registrations will close on March 11, 2010, in order to guarantee team placement. Any special play requests such as playing up or down should be made in writing via e-mail directly to the association’s registrar.
High School Coaching Applications Are Being Accepted
The Spearfish Youth Soccer Association (SYSA) is currently seeking to fill the following positions for the Spearfish High School soccer program 2010:
• Boy’s Varsity Coach
• Boy’s Junior Varsity Coach
Class “D” License preferred however not required. Please note: Class “D” license must be obtained within 24 months of taking the coaching position. Salary will depend on experience and qualifications. Closing date will be March 15, 2010.
