The mission of the Spearfish Youth Soccer Association, Inc. (SYSA) is to promote a quality youth soccer program where young people and coaches can develop positive self-image, self-confidence and soccer skills through their interest and participation in the game of soccer.
The Spearfish Youth Soccer Association Board meets at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Hudson Hall. The meetings are open, and the public is welcome to attend. The board will meet next at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 6th, at Hudson Hall. Board member nominations will be reviewed at that time.

The Spearfish Youth Soccer Association is continuing with the secure, entirely online registration process. Please click here or on the soccer ball to the right to register for fall soccer. Under this new process, registration fees must be made with a debit or credit card. If you are a coach or board member, you will be reimbursed later for your discount.
Be sure to register by Friday, July 16, 2010, to receive the early bird $50 discount. All registrations will close on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, in order to guarantee team placement. Any special play requests such as playing up or down should be made in writing via e-mail directly to the association’s registrar.

Registration Fees Have Increased For 2010-11 Seasons
In an effort to cover increasing expenses, the Spearfish Youth Soccer Association Board of Directors voted at the April meeting to increase registration fees for soccer players ages U10 and above beginning with the Fall 2010 season. The new rates will be as follows:
U5 $25 (unchanged) • U6 $30 (unchanged) • U8 $45 (unchanged)
U10 $60 • U12 $65 • U14 $70 (this rate may be lower for fall depending on games schedule)
High School $150 + cost of lodging • U16 & U19 $75 (Spring 2011)
Indoor Registration for U10 & Above $50 (Winter 2010-11)
These are the early bird fees for those who register for fall on or before July 16. Late registrants are charged an additional $50. Online registration for fall soccer has begun!
Volunteer Disclosure Forms
All who work with our kids — coaches … referees … team moms … any volunteer — must fill out a Volunteer Disclosure Form. The state needs a new one from everyone every two years. Please get one in right away if you are helping with the Spearfish Youth Soccer Association in any way.
