The mission of the Spearfish Youth Soccer Association, Inc. (SYSA) is to promote a quality youth soccer program where young people and coaches can develop positive self-image, self-confidence and soccer skills through their interest and participation in the game of soccer.
The Spearfish Youth Soccer Association Board meets at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Hudson Hall. The meetings are open, and the public is welcome to attend. The board will meet next at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Hudson Hall.
Coaches Training Offered Throughout SD
Several youth modules and clinics are scheduled for coaches all across South Dakota — including Rapid City — running from early February through the summer. Training options cover Youth Modules for ages U6/U8 and U10/U12 as well as licensing for E & D licenses. Volunteer Disclosure Forms
All who work with our kids — coaches … referees … team moms … any volunteer — must fill out a Volunteer Disclosure Form. The state needs a new one from everyone every two years. Please get one in right away if you are helping with the Spearfish Youth Soccer Association in any way.
