The mission of the Spearfish Youth Soccer Association, Inc. (SYSA) is to promote a quality youth soccer program where young people and coaches can develop positive self-image, self-confidence and soccer skills through their interest and participation in the game of soccer.
The Spearfish Youth Soccer Association Board regularly meets at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Hudson Hall. The meetings are open, and the public is welcome to attend. The next board meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Hudson Hall.

Participate in the 2013 Midcontinent Cup Recreational State Soccer Tournament as a finale to the spring season for your teams. All U10-U19 Recreational teams can compete against other teams across South Dakota for a state title. U8 teams will play in a Festival of fun where everyone is a champion! The Spearfish Youth Soccer Association will help any local teams who wish to participate. Contact the registrar for more information.

Medical Release Form
All players must complete a Medical Release Form, have it notarized and submit it to the team coach at one of the first practice sessions of each season. The .pdf form file can be completed on the computer with Adobe Acrobat Reader and saved for future use so that only changes need to made. Notary services are generally available free of charge at your local bank or insurance office. Note that you must sign the form in front of the notary and not before.

Volunteer Disclosure Forms
All who work with our kids — coaches … referees … team moms … any volunteer — must fill out a Volunteer Disclosure Form. The state needs a new one from everyone every two years. Please get one in right away if you are helping with the Spearfish Youth Soccer Association in any way.
